Speeding Question 3

Caught doing 80mph on a 50mph road

I have received a postal requisition to attend court for an offence of driving at 80mph on a 50 mph road. I do not dispute the allegation and want to avoid any ban at all costs as I require my licence for my employment. What are my options?

Given the speed of 80 mph on a 50mph road, the Magistrates will be considering up to a 56 day disqualification from driving. Our aim would be to persuade the court not to ban you but instead to impose 6 penalty points give that you only have 3 at the moment. The key is to prepare and present the best mitigation and once you have instructed us we will set out exactly what information we need from you to do this.
