Summary of Current Role/Areas of Expertise
Amanda joined the firm in June 2015 whilst studying at the University of Chester. She began her employment at Kirwans in the Criminal Department and went on to expand her experience in the Prison Law Department.
Amanda works across all of the Kirwans’ offices and is now a permanent member of the Family Law team.
Amanda offers advice and assistance to parents in public law proceedings involving the Local Authority. She also advises on private matters relating to divorce and finances, advice on parental contact with children and legal guidance on cohabitation and civil partnerships.
Amanda completed her Legal Practice Course alongside her role at Kirwans.
Prior to joining Kirwans, Amanda was a junior paralegal in the Banking & Finance Department at international law firm, DWF LLP.
