Summary of current role/areas of expertise
Daniel is an Accredited Police Station Representative in the Crime Department. During his eight years in the department, Daniel has gained a wealth of experience enabling him to progress from Office Assistant to his current position.
In his role, he regularly attends police stations across the North West to represent Defendants accused of various criminal offences. In addition, he supports the Advocates within the firm in organising and preparing cases for court in readiness for trial.
Daniel also attends scenes where alleged offences have been committed to take statements from defence witnesses and attends on clients in custody. He also has gained vast experience in assisting both Barristers and Queens Counsel on trials in the Crown Court. Daniel deals with clients who have differing needs including vulnerable youths and adults who face a range of mental health issues.
Daniel joined Kirwans in 2002 as an Office Assistant working in the Administration Team. He has gained valuable knowledge by working in various departments at Kirwans including Conveyancing, Family and Personal Injury before joining the Crime department in 2007 where he has advanced to his current role of Accredited Police Station Representative.
