Summary of current role/areas of expertise
Mark is an experienced Criminal Solicitor and Higher Court Advocate. His areas of expertise include trial advocacy representing defendants across an extensive range of criminal offences, including cases of domestic violence, assault, theft and sexual offences.
He has represented children as young as 11 who have found themselves caught up in the criminal justice system and advises young people in the Police Station and the Youth Court.
Mark appears regularly in Magistrates’ and Crown Courts throughout Merseyside, Cheshire and Greater Manchester.
As a proficient advocate and Accredited Police Station Representative, Mark supports clients from the initial Police investigation to representation at court.
Mark completed his training contract and spent a number of years with a large prestigious practice in North Cheshire.
He qualified as a Solicitor in 2000.
Mark has worked as an agency prosecutor for the Department of Work and Pensions but now concentrates solely on criminal defence.
