Summary of role/areas of expertise
Rachel is a Criminal Solicitor working within Kirwans Crime department and represents defendants at the Magistrate’s Court. Rachel deals with bail applications, plea and sentence hearings and mitigation on behalf of all defendants. Rachel also defends clients in court trials at the Magistrates' and strives to achieve the best outcome for every client she represents.
Rachel’s experience in legal representation includes both youth offenders and adult defendants. She prides herself in her ability to adapt to her client’s individual needs and requirements during complex criminal matters. She is always prepared to offer additional support for clients who are vulnerable and have no experience of the legal process.
After graduating from her Legal Practice Course at Liverpool John Moores University, with a commendation, Rachel started her legal career in 2013 as a paralegal, and gained invaluable legal experience in Civil Law, Litigation and Criminal Law.
Rachel successfully completed her Training Contract in 2015 and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales.
