Summary of current role/areas of expertise
James is responsible for the management and development of the Firm’s Personal Injury Department. He specialises in a wide range of Personal Injury matters including Whiplash Claims, Accidents at Work, Employers Liability, Occupiers Liability (Accident in a Public Place) and Highways Act claims. James also deals with Road Traffic Accident claims and has experience of managing cases where there are issues relating to liability.
James has been successful in obtaining compensation for personal injury claims for clients across many areas of the North West including Shotton, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Queensferry, Birkenhead, Moreton, Heswall, Runcorn, Solihull, Manchester, Liverpool, West Kirby, Neston, Bebington, Bromborough, Eastham, Speke, Garston, Southport, Formby, Crosby and as far afield as Doncaster and Scotland.
In addition, James has experience of dealing with Landlord and Tenant Act claims. James is responsible for the development of client services across the department. From taking initial enquiries to managing complex matters, James is committed to providing 100% Compensation* for clients with a bespoke and tailored approach, ensuring that matters are handled on an individual basis and that cases are dealt with in an efficient and expedient manner.
James regularly deals with cases in excess of £100,000.
James is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Prior to joining Kirwans James worked as a Solicitor for a Wirral firm dealing with a range of Personal Injury cases including Employers Liability and Public Liability claims along with Road Traffic Accident claims which had issues regarding liability. He completed a training contract at a Liverpool firm which specialises in Personal Injury cases.
