Nama heads the Crime Team.
Her areas of expertise include trial advocacy, motoring defence and regulatory prosecutions such as those brought by Environment Agency, HSE and Trading Standards. She specialises in representing businesses facing investigation and prosecution by relevant bodies including breaches of licencing and copyright laws.
She also deals with the representation of vulnerable individuals such as youths and those with mental health conditions and Parole Board Hearings for Life Sentence Prisoners.
Career History
Nama was an Intern with The Centre for Equal Justice in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA assisting death penalty Appellate lawyers.
She later trained with Tranters Solicitors in Manchester specialising in Life Sentenced prisoners and applications for release.
Nama most recently worked Cobleys Solicitors in Liverpool police station as an adviser and court advocate before joining Kirwans in 2005.
