Consumer Law covers a wide range of issues including problems with purchased goods, such as cars or kitchen appliances, or services such as the design and construction of extensions, conservatories or other redevelopments.

We are experienced in dealing with claims arising out of the Consumer Credit Act, this is where a claimant brings in the ‘credit provider’ as another party in legal proceedings – something which can be extremely useful should the primary defendant be in financial difficulties.

Another area of concern is if guarantees have been signed, we can advise guarantors of their potential liabilities, and endeavor to negotiate settlement of a guarantee that is being properly pursued.
